A weekend of success

This weekend was very interesting. It was an eye opener for me! Despite my cold feet toward climbing up CN tower, Pishi and I went to the event. When I got there, and saw so many people, who are dedicated to raising awareness for Global Warming, I realized that I am not alone in this fight. Seeing all those people, really pumped me up with Adrenaline and made me feel I can do it! So as spectacle as I was, with regards to my fitness, we climbed up the stairs. I found that my practices at home really paid off, I was glad that I prepared for it. The stair case was metallic and there were 10 stairs between each floor. I saw two of my classmates on the way up as well, they were taking a break. Any ways, despite my purple face, as my pishi puts it I made it to the top. I did it in 31 minutes and 54 seconds! I personally was shocked, that I could do it and the feeling after was great, despite the sweating and being out of breath for a few minutes. I looked outside from the balcony of CN tower and to be honest, I an not a big fan of having to look at something through fences! The elevator that took us down though, hit home when you see how far your displacement was! This definitely was a great accomplishment for me, specially since through the support of my pishi, I did it despite my disbelief. My parents and In Laws were surprised on how I made it!! What I learned from this experience was that, endurance in anything will result in success at some point, it can be sooner or later, but believe in the fact that you can do it and the support of your family, can get you places, you never dreamt you can accomplish.
Surprisingly, we both didn't have any body ache afterwards, and because we made it early in the morning we got 2 complimentary CN Tower visit again! After wards I ran to Mohandes brunch and had an interesting time there and celebrated our day with my pishi at "Shomal" restaurant. Sunday was clean up day and I organized my closet!and we ended the weekend by buying 2 pairs of shoes for me!!
